Dr. Murphy also is respected far beyond the region.  He has published more than 30 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and is the only surgeon in our region who has presented internationally as well as nationally.   He has been honored in the national reference source, Best Doctors in America®, and is on the Board of Directors of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons.
